queen of dreams - a MCODA team projectWelcome

The Midwest Coalition of Original Doll Artist (MCODA) was formed in the 1980's as a center of inspiration and information for a group of diverse doll artists and enthusiasts. The club trys to maintain a supportive and non-competitive atmostphere for its members as we all share in our knowlege and love of dolls. We desire for people to understand that dollmaking is an artform.

Our members range greatly in experience and backgrounds, from professionals, to amateurs, to collectors. Our members work in a variety of mediums including polymer clay, paper clay, water and oil based clays, cloth, beads, etc. Dollmaking resources are available to our members through our video library. To see past work of our members and club group projects, please visit our gallery page.

MCODA is based in the Kansas City area, with monthly meetings on the third Saturday of the month. We offer dollmaking seminars every-other month in various locations around the city. Please see our events calendar for details on upcoming meetings. We welcome new members and invite you to join our mailing list if you have an interest in the club. Please don't hesitate to call or email us with any questions!
